We are all born alone and will end up alone, so why do we always depend on others? Maybe it’s because when we are born into the world, there are our parents who take care of us which we then call a family, then we get to know the environment, namely neighbors, and friends, and meet with other people around us then it becomes a relationship whatever it’s called. We always live with them, and at the moment when these people leave us or we leave them to continue our lives, we will realize that in the end, we will return to living alone, standing on our own feet, responsible for ourselves, and feeling alone. it appears and is real.

Feeling alone is something that is unpleasant to feel. Often this feeling is identified with a feeling of loneliness. Even though feeling alone or in solitude does not mean loneliness, solitude means that we understand our own situation, choose to live alone, and how we will be responsible for ourselves, for all the choices we make. Solitude can also be said to be me-time. everything is our own responsibility because we decide all the choices we take. What we all often forget is that sometimes we often blame other people, the weather, nature, or other factors for what has happened to us, even though when we have the flu, we always blame the weather, even though it could be because we don’t take care of our bodies and take warm clothes, our food. Including when we trust others, it is also a decision we have made. But that’s how humans are in general, often blaming everything on external factors, even though the main problem is in themselves. We are the problem.

Meanwhile loneliness? Loneliness is an emotion, a feeling when we feel abandoned by others, feel neglected, and feel alienated by social relationships. Loneliness is an emotion that comes from being alone, but feeling lonely is also a choice. Because we are too dependent on the social environment that continues to side with us to understand us, so we feel lonely when society rejects us. Loneliness is very painful to feel and it’s normal, and I think when we feel lonely, it’s the right time to recognize ourselves that we were and can be happy and also at peace with ourselves without other people.

In the past, parents always said that we should have lots of children so that when we are old we won’t feel alone. Who says? Aren’t children just entrusted by God that we have to direct the way they will go? In the end, the children will live their own lives and we will return to our solitude. our partner? Oh, sure it would be wonderful if God would call us together. But in the end? We will still be separated from each other and return alone. so we are all alone and we have to be aware of that so we don’t always depend on other people (including our own children), my friend.
